We are putting together a community worship team. This ministry is body of Christ minded and denominational wall do not exist. We come together for the purpose of giving God the praise and glory he deserve, out of a heart full of love for what Jesus has done.

The purpose of Open Heaven Praise and Prayer Ministries is to magnify the greatness of God through praise and worship, prayer, and the study of God’s word.

We seek to provide a place where people can experience the manifest presence of God, and be refreshed in spirit, soul, and body.

Meet our staff
David Martin Senior Leader
David Martin is the Senior Leader and President of Open Heaven Praise and Prayer Ministries. His passion for God's word and knowledge of the scriptures have been honed by over forty years of personal study and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. David received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in his twenties while attending bible study in the home of Elmer and Frieda Kusch; elder members of his home church. This began an intimate walk with the Holy Spirit that continues to this day.
David's career has included work as a diesel mechanic, a school bus driver, and a salesman. In late 2008, after working as a window cleaner for thirteen years, David eventually closed down his business to pursue writing. This led him to ministry opportunities with the local rescue mission where he developed a passion for discipleship; especially among former gang members, drug addicts and the homeless.
A lifelong worshipper, David is passionate about seeing heaven come to earth. He seeks to know God more, and lead others into the presence of God through praise and worship, prayer, and bible study.
David is the author of Spiritual Bootcamp "Being Passionate for Jesus"; Courageous Christianity; The Obedience Factor; and During Prayer Time Today Vol. I & 2.
Rebekah Martin Worship Leader
Rebekah grew up in a home that was filled with praise and worship music. At the age of seven, after watching Darlene Zschech lead worship for Hillsong, Rebekah prayed that one day she too would be able to lead people in worship. God answered the prayer of a young girl's heart.
In the summer of 2016, after attending WorshipU at Bethel Church in Redding, CA, Rebekah sensed God's call into worship leading. Since then, she and her brother Bobby have been co-leading worship at Christian camps, special events in their home church, and during weekly gatherings of Open Heaven Praise and Prayer Ministries. Rebekah has a heart to see lives changed and transformed through the power of God.
Rebekah earned a BA in Liberal Studies from Fresno Pacific University. After working two years as an elementary school teacher, Rebekah has decided to return to Fresno Pacific in the fall of 2019 to pursue a Special Education teaching credential.
